The sandwiches are made with a creamy and savory filling called "mezcla," which typically consists of cream cheese, mayonnaise, canned ham, pimientos, and olives. The mezcla is spread generously on soft white bread, and the sandwiches are then cut into bite-sized squares or triangles, making them perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends and family. The combination of flavors and textures in Tea Party Sandwiches is truly delightful, and they are a must-have at any Puerto Rican gathering. Whether served as an appetizer or as part of a larger spread, these sandwiches are sure to be a hit and are a delicious representation of the rich and diverse flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine.
