Ramen Eggs (Ajitsuke Tamago)

Ramen eggs, also known as Ajitsuke Tamago in Japanese, are a popular and essential addition to any bowl of authentic ramen. These soft-boiled eggs are marinated in a flavorful soy sauce-based mixture, resulting in a delicious and savory flavor that perfectly complements the rich broth and chewy noodles of the ramen. The eggs are characterized by their creamy and custard-like yolk and a slightly firm egg white, creating a textural contrast that adds depth to the overall ramen experience.
