8 ounces penne pasta
1 bunch leeks, quartered lengthwise and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 ½ cups shredded Emmentaler cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions
